Philomena Margaret Dowdall, 82, of McMurray, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 24, 2013.
She was born in County Monaghan, Ireland.
Mrs. Dowdall was the beloved wife of Peter Dowdall for 49 years; beloved mother of Maureen (Ken) Garner and Peter (Erin) Dowdall; the proud grandmother of Kelsey, Ella, Elise and Aidan; and a sister of five in Ireland and New York.
She was a registered nurse, receiving her education in London, England.
Mrs. Dowdall was the president and owner of Concerned Care Inc.
She was a member of Registered Nurses Association in Southwestern Pennsylvania, on the board of Peters Township Chamber of Commerce and founder of Omega Healthcare Network.
Friends and family are welcome 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 28, in St. Louise de Marillac Church, Upper St. Clair. Entombment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township.
