Joseph Kime, 76, of Richeyville, passed away Wednesday afternoon, September 25, 2013, in Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC, Pittsburgh.
He was born September 11, 1937, in Richeyville, a son of the late Anthony and Julia Ann Huzor Kime.
Mr. Kime was a lifelong member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Richeyville.
He was mentally challenged. He lived most of his adult life in group homes, but visited home often. He loved country rides in a Chevy truck, fishing at Ryerson Park, dollar bills, polka music and especially Elvis Presley.
Mr. Kime was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Surviving are three sisters, Dorothy Dipietrantonio (Mario), Kathleen Melba Kime and Laraine Michelle Staley (Calvin), all of Richeyville; two brothers, Robert “Bobby” Kime (Priscilla) and Steven Michael Kime, both of Richeyville; a sister-in-law, Kathleen F. Kime of Scenery Hill; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are three sisters, Elizabeth “Betty” Kruper, Delphine Frances Molnar and Virginia Grace Wrublesky, and a brother, Anthony Lewis “Sonny” Kime Jr.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, September 28, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Church, Richeyville, with the Rev. Edward Yuhas, as celebrant. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
