Enjoyed fishing and music
John Angott, 84, of Washington, died Friday, January 31, 2014, in Washington Hospital.
He was born December 19, 1929, in Washington, a son of Tony and Catherine Bellotti Angott.
Mr. Angott was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church. He had worked as a forklift operator at Brockway Glass Plant No. 7 for 37 years.
A Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he enjoyed fishing and music.
On June 11, 1955, he married Elizabeth Pinter, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Ronald Angott of Washington; a daughter, Debra Angott of Washington; a brother, Sam “Beanie” Angott of Washington; and a sister, Ursaline McGary of West Alexander.
Deceased are a brother, Tony Angott, and a sister, Theresa Medovich.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in William G. Loved hunting and fishing
Stephen J. Bosick, 47, of Slovan, died Thursday, January 30, 2014, in UPMC-Montefiore hospital, Pittsburgh, with his family by his side.
He was born January 23, 1967, a son of John and Louise Sentipal Bosick of Slovan.
Mr. Bosick worked many jobs, most notably McKees Rocks Forging and Langeloth Metallurgical.
He was a resident of Slovan all of his life and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his son, Stephen Bosick Jr.; his sister, Michele (Emmett) Walsh; his best friend and cousin, Ron Sentipal; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He also leaves behind his Yorkshire terrier canine buddy, Bull.

Carol J. Duckworth, 62, of McMurray, died peacefully Friday, January 31, 2014.
She was born November 6, 1951, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Albert and Esther Brickner Opferman.
She was the beloved wife of Gary Duckworth for 38 years; loving mother of Kristin; stepmother of Sean; grandmother of Enzo and Timo; and sister of the late Ron Opferman.
Mrs. Duckworth, along with her husband, Gary, were co-owners of the Dairy Bar in McMurray.

Teacher made gifts for loved ones
Raymond A. Kelley, 76, of Donora, died Friday, January 31, 2014, in his home.
He was born Monday, November 22, 1937, in Eighty Four, a son of the late Alvie and Marian Martin Kelley.
Mr. Kelley taught machine shop at the Mon Valley Vocational Technical School for over 30 years.
He was an avid Steelers fan, a golfer and he had a real love for cats. He had a passion for working with wood and made gifts in his home wood shop for his family and friends.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are two sisters, Eva Evans and Marian Partezana, and two brothers, Paul and Tom Kelley.
Surviving are his wife, Claudia Howard Kelley; five daughters, Debbie (Drew) Dillie, Christine (Mick) Kelley, Colleen (Harlan) Little, Lisa (Dean) Criss and Dana (Mo) Nabozny; a son, Raymond Kelley Jr.; four grandchildren, Benjamin, Sarah, Nico and Zachary; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sara Ames and Pat Mellars; and several nieces and nephews.

Could light up a room just with his smile
Hunter Lafe McAdoo, 10 months old, son of William Kyle McAdoo and Taylore Nicole Ochkie, died at 6:48 a.m. Friday, January 31, 2014, following a lengthy illness.
Born March 30, 2013, in Washington, Hunter was known to all by many different nicknames, “Pumpkin” and “One-Eyed Popeye” to his grandparents and “Our Little Prince” to others. He could light up a room just with his smile. “Peanut” to some, was also known for his hair, as it looked just like Elvis’ hair. “Our Little Angel” was loved by all who met him. There is no footprint too small to leave an imprint on this world.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are uncles Joshua Roland Ochkie, Jonathan Dewey Ochkie, Andrew Cole McAdoo and William “Billy” McAdoo III; aunts Cassandra Leigh Eddy and Melinda Wolfe; paternal grandparents William “Billy” Jr. and Marci McAdoo; maternal grandparents John and Martha Ochkie and Kristy Eddy-Ochkie; paternal great-grandparents Patricia “Patti” Mancuso and William McAdoo Sr.; maternal great-grandparents Joseph Jr. and Grace Eddy and Carol Smotzer; paternal great-great-grandmother, Mary Newman-Shivers; maternal great-great-grandparents Raymond and Viola Fordyce; cousins Zoey Marie Hall, Emmett Wolfe, Ella Wolfe and Erra Wolfe; and many great-aunts, great-uncles and distant cousins.

Avid Pittsburgh sports fan
Dorothy M. “Gram” Neville Neal, 87, of Houston, died Friday, January 31, 2014, in Donnell House, Washington, surrounded by her family.
She was born August 19, 1926, near Punxsutawney, a daughter of Avery and Lola McDonald Neville.
Mrs. Neal was a 1945 graduate of Dayton High School in Armstrong County. She worked for Celento’s Department Store and was a cook at Rocky’s Restaurant, followed by Shelly’s Pike Inn, until her retirement in 2008.
Mrs. Neal was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates, Penguins and Steelers fan. She also enjoyed NASCAR and was a Dale Earnhardt fan. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her friends at the Heritage House, who often called her “Doodles.”
On November 22, 1947, she married Wilbur J. Neal, who died in December 1979.
Surviving are a daughter, Vicky Lesjak (John “Bo” Sr.) of Houston; a son, William Neal (Judy) of Alamogordo, N.M.; six grandchildren, Melissa Neal Minerd (William) of Brownsville, Amy Lesjak Rosselli (Lou) of Powell, Ohio, Jennifer Neal Byrnes (Scott) of Alamogordo, Gary “Bubba” Neal Jr. (Debbie) of Newport, N.C., John Lesjak Jr. (Tiffany) of Houston and William Neal Jr. of Dallas, Texas; a sister, Ann Kunselman (George) of Hamilton; a brother, William Neville of Punxsutawney; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Deceased are a son, Gary Lee Neal; a daughter, Carol A. Neal; four sisters, Ruth Neville, Martha Pollick, Jesse Brothers and Luella Condron; and two brothers, Roy and Claude Neville.

Maryland teacher was born in Bentleyville
Rodney John Pompei, 65, of Laurel, Md., passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014, in Howard County General Hospital, Columbia, Md., after a 10-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
He was born July 20, 1948, in Bentleyville, a son of the late John Pompei and Katherine Kudra Pompei.
Mr. Pompei was the beloved husband of June Pompei for 22 years; loving father of Kyle Pompei; and brother of Debra Vlanich and Joyce Spridik of Bentleyville.
He was a 1966 graduate of Bentleyville-Ellsworth High School and a graduate of California State College, now known as California University of Pennsylvania. He also had an equivalency of a master’s degree, which he earned through credits at various universities and Prince George’s County Public Schools. He taught math in Prince George’s County Public Schools for 33 years at Nicholas Orem Middle School and High Point High School.
Relatives and friends were received, and a service was held, Saturday, February 1, in Borgwardt Funeral Home, 4400 Powder Mill Road, Beltsville, Md. Interment was private.

Lived entire life in Canonsburg
Mary Tornabene, 92, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Friday, January 31, 2014, surrounded by her family in Paramount Senior Living of Peters Township.
She was born April 30, 1921, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Samuel and Rose Martino Bucci.
Mrs. Tornabene lived her entire life in Canonsburg, where she was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. During World War II, she was employed at Flannery Bolt Co. in Bridgeville, where she inspected guns used in the war. She was a homemaker who was an excellent cook and baker. Mrs. Tornabene was a seamstress and enjoyed opera, reading and “Judge Judy.”
On May 18, 1944, she married Guy S. Tornabene, who passed away October 1, 1997.
Surviving are two daughters, Rose (Ben) Del Prince and Gina (Bill) Seneca, both of McMurray; her son, Dean G. Tornabene of Brentwood, Calif.; five grandchildren, Renata Seneca, Gia and Marco Del Prince, Geno Seneca and Cami Del Prince (Ray) Himme; a great-granddaughter, Sophia Rae Himme; several nieces and nephews; and two lifelong best friends, Gloria and Babe Cancilla of Canonsburg.
Mrs. Tornabene was the last of her immediate family.
Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, is her brother, Tom Bucci.

Rita J. Trettel, 88, of Charleroi, died Friday, January 31, 2014.
Born November 25, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Matthias and Kathryn Taylor.
She was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church, Jednota, and was a 1943 graduate of Charleroi High School.
Mrs. Trettel worked for many years as a lunch mother for Charleroi School District.
Surviving are sons, Daniel Trettel and wife Karen of Darlington, Robert Trettel and wife Jeanne of Monongahela, Thomas Trettel and wife Laurie of Washington and John “Jack” Trettel and wife Brenda of Stockdale; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, deceased are her husband, Robert V. Trettel in 1975, and siblings Joseph, Cecelia, Amelia, Catherine, Johanna, Mary, Martha and Bertha.

Reuben “Smokey” White, 84, died Monday, January 27, 2014.
Mr. White operated the carousel at Washington County Fair for 47 years.
Surviving are wife Carol and son Jacob Hutchison.

Samuel D. Yeager Sr., 52, of McDonald, died Friday, January 31, 2014.
He was born September 13, 1961, in Portland, Ore., a son of the late Earl C. and Betty J. Hayden Yeager.
Mr. Yeager was a journeyman machinist for Cannon Tool in Canonsburg for 24 years. He was a member of Muse Italian Club. He coached Hickory girls softball and enjoyed singing and playing the guitar.
On September 25, 1993, he married Jeannina “Nina” Liggitt, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Samuel D. (Melinda) Yeager Jr. of McDonald; two daughters, Shelby Yeager of McDonald and Erica Yeager of Maryland; a sister, Debra Yeager of Washington; four brothers, Michael and William Yeager of Texas, Greg Yeager of Mississippi and Donald Yeager of Washington; and three grandchildren, Ava, Violet and Zach Yeager.
