Loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother
Mary Lou Tracanna, 82, of Washington, died Wednesday, February 5, 2014, in Donnell House.
She was born August 20, 1931, in Washington, a daughter of Louis and Adalyn Moletz Nardi.
Mrs. Tracanna was a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.
She was employed as an office manager for American Glass and Mirror for more than 30 years. She was also an Avon representative for more than 40 years. She was a den mother for her son’s Cub Scout group and loved cooking and playing cards with the girls from the neighborhood. Her husband, children and grandchildren were all truly number one in her life.
On November 26, 1953, she married Frank Tracanna Jr. Mr. Tracanna was the love of her life and the two recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Also surviving are her children, Karen (Fred) Dailey of New Cumberland, Terry (Art) Brogley of Scenery Hill, Richard “Rick” (Anna) Tracanna of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Kim (Chris) Breault of Orange Park, Fla., and Sandy Frazee of Washington; six grandchildren, Kevin Brogley, Melissa (Bob) Packard, Chad Brogley, Michelle “Shelley” Dailey, Mark Frazee II and Kate Tracanna; and three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Hailey and Luke Packard.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A prayer service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, February 8, in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Washington. Entombment will follow in Washington Cemetery Mausoleum.
