Dale B. Wotring, 75, of Carmichaels, died Saturday, February 8, 2014, in Donnell House, Washington.

He was born September 2, 1938, in Dilliner, a son of the late Blaine and Ella Osborne Wotring.

Surviving are his wife, Janet M. Varesko Wotring; a son, Mark D. Wotring of Carmichaels; a daughter, Tammy Hawk (Keith) of North Carolina; four stepdaughters, Andrea Eitner (David), Jackie Wotring, Vicki Jezewski and Janet (Tillie) Patterson; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Moore (Jeremy), Justin Hawk, Aaron and Cory Wotring, Andy Vuknic and David and Michael Eitner; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mr. Wotring leaves behind his peekapoo dog, Shaky.

Deceased are a grandson, Christopher Hawk, and three sisters, Evelyn Jordan, Betty Pritts and Beatrice Ross.

He was a retired truck driver and had operated a Mobil Gas Station in Carmichaels for many years.

Mr. Wotring enjoyed delivering pizzas for Rocco’s Pizza and visiting with his regular customers. He was an avid fisherman and camper.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 1 to 2 p.m., the time of service, Wednesday, February 12, in Lesako Funeral Home, 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320, 724-966-5100, Paul M. Lesako director/supervisor/owner, with the Rev. Reagan Fike officiating. Burial will follow in Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels.
