Homemaker and loving mother
Marilyn Loretta MtJoy, formerly of Nemacolin, died Monday, February 10, 2014, in Punxsutawney Area Hospital, following a brief illness.
Mrs. MtJoy was born April 30, 1930, in Grindstone, a daughter of the late Mary Catherine Bill and William “Bill” Ralko. She was a 1948 graduate of Cumberland Township High School and lived in Nemacolin until 1994, when she relocated to Punxsutawney to be closer to her son. She was a homemaker and loving mother.
Surviving are two sons, Robert (Sundra) MtJoy Jr. and Bruce MtJoy and Wanda Covatch; two grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and a brother, William Ralko of Livonia, Mich.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her sister, Arlene “Sugar” Bialko, and two brothers, Robert L. and Edmond Ralko.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Family and friends are welcome to gather at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Crucible, where a Mass of the Resurrection will be held.
