Korean War veteran
Steve Kramrich Jr., 85, of Denbo, died Friday, February 14, 2014, in Monongahela Valley Hospital.
He was born July 31, 1928, in Arnold City, a son of Steve and Mary Hassen Kramrich.
Mr. Kramrich attended East Bethlehem schools and later worked as a crane operator for 44 years for Marcus Paulson.
A Korean War veteran, he served in the U.S. Army from February 7, 1951, until his honorable discharge December 29, 1952, with a rank of corporal.
His first wife, Josephine Parchetta, with whom he had seven children, died in 1980.
In 1985, he married Grace Mayfield Lewis, who is deceased.
Mr. Kramrich was a member of American Legion, Jefferson. His favorite pastime was going to the casino.
Surviving are daughters, Debra (Kevin) Everett of Denbo, Stephanie (Scott) Piper of Fairchance, Mary Jo (Wally) Lemenovich of Vestaburg, Michelle (George) Smoggie of Clarksville and Beverly (Ron) Arthur of Lone Pine; a son, Steve (Natasha) Kramrich III of Fredericktown; a daughter, Amy (Bill) Cree of Khedive; a brother, George Kramrich of Las Vegas; sisters, Frances Olesky of Hiller; Cynthia Kramrich of Las Vegas; 20 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Joseph Kramrich.
Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m., the hour of service, Sunday, February 16, in Frank Burkus Funeral Home, 26 Mill Street, Millsboro, PA 15348.
