Ball Glass retireeenjoyed fishing
Charles Burdette Ingersoll, 94, of Washington, died Friday, February 14, 2014, in Townview Health and Rehabilitation, Canonsburg.
He was born February 16, 1919, in Cameron, W.Va., a son of Charles Ingersoll and Betsy Kettle Ingersoll.
Mr. Ingersoll worked at Ball Glass for 28 years, retiring as a foreman of the shipping department.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golf.
On March 2, 1946, he married Mildred Emma Fedis, who died June 29, 2003.
Surviving are a son, William C. Ingersoll (Candace) of Prosperity; two sisters, Juanita McGary of Texas and Wanda Woodruff of West Virginia; two grandchildren, William Ingersoll Jr. and Stacey Ingersoll; a great-grandchild, Shaylynn Ingersoll; a great-great-grandchild, Logan Ingersoll; and several nieces and nephews.
