Deborah L. “Debbie” Littell, 60, of Washington, died Thursday, February 13, 2014, in UPMC-Montefiore hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born July 6, 1953, in Washington, a daughter of the late James L. and Alice D. Naylor Powell.

Mrs. Littell was a graduate of Washington High School and worked at Subway for many years, until her health forced her retirement.

She loved painting, her cats, making stained glass and holding and attending yard sales.

Mrs. Littell was a member of Slovak Club in Washington.

On June 3, 2000, she married James Littell, who died October 29, 2009.

Surviving are a daughter, Kimberly A. Strawn of Washington; a sister, Cindy L. Powell-King of Washington; a granddaughter, Samantha A. Holmes; stepfather Charles Greer of Washington; nieces Michelle Powell and her family and Jessica Fluharty; and boyfriend Donald Pabian.

Deceased are a daughter, Chastity Powell; a sister, Linda Fluharty; and a niece, Misty Blue King.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m., the time of service, Monday, February 17, in Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington. All other services will be private. At the request of the deceased, please bring live plants only, for each person to take home in her memory.
