Kathleen T. Leichter, 79, of Bloomington, Ind., passed away February 17, 2014, in I.U. Health, Bloomington Hospice House.

She was born December 6, 1934, in Philadelphia, a daughter of Cornelius and Kathleen McMonagle Hart.

Mrs. Leichter was a graduate of Roxborough High School.

She was a charter member of Boys Club of Bloomington Auxiliary. She also was a Pink Lady Volunteer at Bloomington Hospital for more than 25 years. She was a co-founder of Cakes, Candies and Things.

Surviving are her husband, Ronald D. Leichter, whom she married September 6, 1958; daughter Mary Ann Leichter of Champaign, Ill.; son John F. Leichter of Ellettsville, Ind.; grandchildren Landon E. (Kayt) Leichter and Caitlin E. Leichter, both of Spencer, Ind.; brothers Cornelius (Patricia) Hart Jr. of Philadelphia and Francis (Kathy) Hart of Ambler; and sister Lorraine Hart of Philadelphia.

Visitation and services will be private. Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery.
