Estelle M. Kuzior Gratchen, 84, of Atlasburg, died Wednesday, February 19, 2014, in Kade Nursing Home, Washington.
She was born September 30, 1929, in Joffre, a daughter of the late Theodore and Josephine Kuzior.
Prior to her retirement, she was the head cashier at Krogers in Bridgeville.
Mrs. Gratchen was a member of St. Ann Church in Bulger.
She enjoyed golfing, baking, going to dog races and bowling, having traveled in bowling tournaments all over the country.
Surviving are her husband, Andrew Gratchen; a son, Gary Gratchen of Burgettstown; a daughter, Kathy (Joe) Wiles of Joffre; grandchildren Joe, Brandon and Heath Gratchen, Kristy Fuller and Jason and Colin Gratchen; and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, Ted, Tom, Matt and Joe Kuzior, and two sisters, Irene LaBanz and Lottie Gorman.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation. Other arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
