Robert J. Lewis, 90, of Houston, died Monday, February 24, 2014, in his home.
He was born June 20, 1923, in Canonsburg, a son of Frank H. and Nettie E. Patzsch Lewis.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a draftsman for Ft. Pitt Bridge Works and National Annealing Box Factory.
Mr. Lewis enjoyed wood working, photography, and especially enjoyed his garden.
He was the last of his immediate family.
Deceased are a brother, Howard Lewis, and six sisters, Emma Cox, Dorothy Bell, Helen Lewis, Jane Farabee, Betty Backner and Joan Lewis.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, in Sollon Funeral Home Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director, where services will be held at a time to be announced Thursday, February 27. Interment will follow in Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg.
