Charles P. “Chuck” Schrockman, 84, of Paris, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014.
He was born July 4, 1929, in Burgettstown, a son of the late Charles and Anna Audricanish Schrockman.
Also deceased are his wife, Shirley Wright Schrockman, who died in 2010; 10 sisters; and a brother.
Mr. Schrockman was a member of Paris Presbyterian Church.
He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran.
Mr. Schrockman retired from the strip steel department of Weirton Steel.
Surviving are daughter Sheila Wagner (William) of Colliers, W.Va.; sons Chris Schrockman, Edgar Schrockman and Shawn Schrockman (Judy), all of Paris; sister Lillian; grandchildren Amanda, Samantha, Rebecca, Justin, Kristen, Jacob and Zachary Schrockman; and great-grandchildren Jason and Connor.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, W.Va. Additional visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of service, Friday, February 28, in Paris Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Christina Hosler presiding. Burial will follow in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Hanover Township. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post 10 and West Virginia honor guard.
