Bonnie L. Pesuti, 92, of Carmichaels, died at 1:05 a.m. Thursday, January 2, 2014, in Donnell House, Washington.
She was born February 15, 1921, in Jane Lew, W.Va., a daughter of the late James W. Brown and Goldie Hitt Brown Crago.
Mrs. Pesuti resided most of her life in Carmichaels, where she was a member of First Christian Church.
She enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting and knitting.
Mrs. Pesuti always had a pleasant and positive attitude.
On October 26, 1940, she married Alphonso A. Pesuti, who died July 9, 1987.
Surviving are two sons, Anthony A. Pesuti and wife Norma of Carmichaels, and James Pesuti and wife Wanda of Crucible; six grandchildren, Anthony Pesuti Jr, Joseph Pesuti, Patricia Celaschi, Jaime McFadden, Christine Dilts and Robert Pesuti; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Rosemary Marcin of Carmichaels; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, Charles Brown and Butch Brown; and two sisters, Stella McCoy and Goldie “Dodo” Smith.
There will be no public viewing and a memorial service is being planned at a later date in First Christian Church in Carmichaels.
