Welder enjoyed playing horseshoes

Phillip Stephen Wolanski, 43, of Weirton, W.Va., died Sunday, January 5, 2014, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born September 20, 1970, in Washington, a son of Rita James Wolanski of Weirton and the late Thomas Wolanski.

Mr. Wolanski was a welder.

He enjoyed playing horseshoes and watching football and old Western movies.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his children, Brooke and Seth Bonacci and Jina Burns, all of Burgettstown; a brother, Thomas (Cara) Wolanski of Paris; sisters Theresa (Dennis) McCuean of Chippewa and Debbie (Barry) Main of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of service, Wednesday, January 8, in Taucher Funeral Home, 23 Erie Mine Road, Burgettstown.
