Shelondia Jean Archer, 63, of Washington, died Friday, January 10, 2014, in Washington Hospital.

She was born August 28, 1950, in Washington, a daughter of the late Gerald Thomas Archer and Mary Pearl Davis Archer.

Ms. Archer was a graduate of McGuffey High School and worked at the former Hill’s Department Store in the toy department.

She enjoyed reading, especially her Bible, and watching studio wrestling, the Pens and the Pirates.

Ms. Archer was a member of Wolfdale Bible Chapel.

Surviving are three brothers, Jim (Julie) Archer, Ronald Archer and John (Barb) Archer, and a sister, Vicky Hanning, all of Washington; nieces and nephews, Cindy Hanning, Bobby Hanning, Debbie Messick, Jackie Archer and John “J.R.” Archer Jr.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, with the Rev. Fred Helmick officiating.
