Washington Hospital Auxiliary volunteer
Marlene Marie Brova, 52, of Scenery Hill, died Wednesday, January 15, 2014, in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born February 22, 1961, in Washington, a daughter of Louis and Laura Dziak Brova of Scenery Hill, who survive.
Ms. Brova was a 1980 graduate of Bentworth High School and, for several years, served as a volunteer with Washington Hospital Auxiliary.
She enjoyed working around the family farm and cooking.
Ms. Brova attended Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Washington.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are an uncle, Victor Brova, and several close aunts and cousins.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 18, to proceed to a noon Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church, Washington, with the Rev. Lou Pascazi as celebrant. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela.
