Rosemary Barchiesi, 55, of Carmichaels, died Wednesday, January 15, 2014, in Aurora, N.Y.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and are being handled by Behm Funeral Home, Jefferson.

Certified nursing assistant

Cindy Lea Donley Campbell, 50, of Washington, died January 14, 2014, in Washington Hospital.

She was born November 19, 1963, in Washington, a daughter of Rose M. Willhoft Donley of Washington and the late Albert B. Donley Sr.

Mrs. Campbell was a graduate of Washington High School and worked as a certified nursing assistant in local nursing homes.

She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, nieces, nephew, great-nieces and great-nephew.

Mrs. Campbell was Baptist.

Surviving are a son, Joseph E. Plovic Jr. (Courtney N. Bell) of Bentleyville; a brother, Albert B. Donley Jr. of West Finley; two sisters, Ruth (Frank) Tulock and Tammy Speicher, both of Washington; a granddaughter, Jenna N. Plovic; a nephew, Toby B. Donley; nieces Brandi S. (David) Tulock, Heather M. Lawhead, Diana M. Speicher, Samantha Donley and Jasmine J. Donley; seven great-nieces; and a great-nephew.

Deceased is a nephew, Frank A. Tulock.

Ruth Eileen Carlisle, 84, of Washington, died Friday, January 17, 2014, in Donnell House, Washngton.

Bobtown U.M. Church member enjoyed singing

Darla Faye Clites, 83, of Bobtown, died January 17, 2014, in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.

Mrs. Clites was born August 10, 1930, in Lake Lynn, a daughter of the late Daniel F. and Anna Marie Bair Ridenour.

On July 3, 1951, she married James R. Clites, who survives.

Also surviving are three children, Judy Carr (Mike) of Morgantown, Daniel Clites of Bobtown and Mark Clites (Carol) of Newark, Ohio; two grandchildren, Ty and Tara Carr; a brother, Howard Ridenour; two half brothers, George and Morris Coburn; a half sister, Rose Marie Gray; a brother-in-law, Charles Fowler; and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two sisters, Sally Fowler and Betty Juncal; a brother, Albert Ridenour; and two half brothers, Loren and Charles Coburn.

Mrs. Clites was a member of Bobtown United Methodist Church, Methodist Women, and Senior Citizens.

She enjoyed singing and fishing.

Phyllis Ann Doak Foringer, 77, of Washington, died, Friday, January 17, 2014, in Washington Hospital, following a short illness.

Homemaker skilled in knitting, crocheting

Pauline M. Fox, 98, of Waynesburg, passed away quietly Thursday, January 16, 2014, in the Golden Living Center, Waynesburg.

She was born in Mapletown on October 25, 1915, a daughter of the late James Corbly and Winona Tanner McFarland.

A 1933 graduate of Mapletown High School, she was a member of Mapletown United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Fox was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Greene County. She was skilled at knitting, crocheting and embroidery work, and, at the age of 96, enrolled in a class on jewelry making. She enjoyed reading, listening to music and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.

Surviving are her two loving and devoted daughters, Mrs. Dwight (Sheila) Beall of Huntington and Rhonda Fox of Waynesburg; six grandchildren, Debbie (Fox) Arthur, Gene, Gary, Chuckie and Keith Fox and Scott Beall; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Arlie O. Fox, passed away April 14, 1975.

Also deceased are two stepsons, Gordon and Marvin Fox; two brothers, Harold and Cecil McFarland; and three sisters, Velma Frum, Leona Cox and Ina Brown.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday in Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, and until 11 a.m., the hour of service, Monday, January 20, with the Rev. Server at the Cherry Tree in the George Washington

Beverly Louise Gatten, 78, of Washington, died Wednesday, January 15, 2014, following a lengthy illness, surrounded by her family.

She was born July 7, 1935, a daughter of the late Ensley and Helen Cummins Kelsey.

A member of Church of Christ, she had worked at the Cherry Tree in the George Washington hotel, where she also had been a banquet server.

Mrs. Gatten was a member of Ladies of the Moose, Lodge 22, where she had been active in the dartball league for 40 years.

She loved animals and the outdoors, especially spending time in the mountains.

On January 24, 1972, she married Jack Gaylord Gatten, who died November 17, 2008.

Surviving are five sons, Jack Reihner Jr. of Washington, Doug Gatten of West Alexander, Dave Gatten of New York, N.Y., William Reihner of Erie and Charles Reihner of Washington; two daughters, Lisa Gatten and Amy Cox, both of Washington; a sister, Nancy Sanpietro of Washington; 15 grandchildren, Josh, Chris, Jimmy, Zach, Cameron, Jennifer, MacKenzie, Megan, Dustin, Jordan, Christina, Preston, Chantel, Brennon and Amanda; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Deceased, are a daughter, Janet Pabian; a sister, Betty; and a brother, Jimmy.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 20, with Pastor Dan Lutz officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.

California University computer programmer

William Dennis Hannen, 67, of Washington, died Wednesday, January 15, 2014, in his home.

He was born April 15, 1946, in Washington, a son the late Larry and Genevieve Flynn Hannen.

Mr. Hannen was a graduate of Washington High School and California University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a bachelor of liberal arts degree. 

He was a computer programmer for California University for 30 years.

Mr. Hannen served in the U.S. Army from October 14, 1965, until his honorable discharge October 13, 1968, with a rank of Specialist, Fifth Grade. He was awarded a National Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal and Good Conduct Medal.

He was a member of Keystone Club, Arms Club and American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175, where he served with the honor guard.

Surviving are sisters Sherry Hannen of Washington and Janet Hannen of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; nieces and nephews Michael Sells, Bryan Sells, Kaleb Hannen, Travis Hannen, Ashley Lacks, Mason Hannen, Desiree Harps and Brock Harps; and great-nieces and great-nephews Bailee Lacks, Marquese Lacks, Tyseani Lacks, Shylanae Lacks, Jordan Dudley and Julian Dudley.

Deceased is a brother, Fred “Crab” Hannen.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 21. Columbia Gas supervisor was U.S. Army veteran

Donald Lee Morris, 82, of Washington, died Thursday, January 16, 2014, in Washington Hospital.

He was born March 8, 1931, in Washington, a son of Wayne E. Morris and Ethel Ammons Morris, who are deceased.

Mr. Morris served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1952, in addition, he served in the National Guard.

He was employed at Columbia Gas as a warehouse supervisor for 46 years.

Mr. Morris loved to cook, play cards and go out to dinner with friends and family.

He was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church, life member of American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175, where served as the post commander, twice. He also was a member of the Arms Club.

On February 4, 1946, he married Bessie R. Crowe, who died April 22, 2003.

On January 20, 2007, he married Ruth Moninger Shaw, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Susan (Jay) Zimmerman of Elizabeth; a brother, Ralph (Mary) Morris of Winterhaven, Fla.; and four grandchildren, Michelle Morris, Wayne Morris, Christina Morris and Adam Hall.

Deceased are a son, Gary L. Morris; a brother, Wayne Morris; and a sister, Eileen Standard.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 21, with Pastor Jeff Diedrich officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Very active member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church

Robert O. “Bobby” Wright, 53, of Washington, died Wednesday, January 15, 2014, in UPMC-Shadyside hospital, following an eight-month illness.

He was born August 8, 1960, in Washington, a son of the late Gaylord Lloyd Wright and Marie Conger Wright Cage of Washington.

Mr. Wright was a 1978 graduate of Trinity High School.

He was a very active member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, where he also sang in the choir. He was on the board of trustees at the church, a member of the men’s club, and was very passionate about becoming a deacon in the church when his health started to improve.

Mr. Wright enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and riding his Harley Davidson. He was a NASCAR season ticket holder in Charlotte and a season ticket holder with the Penguins. He was a Steelers fan, avid sports fan, loved Duck Dynasty and enjoyed traveling with his family in their motor home. He loved his family time.

On November 4, 1989, he married Denise Brookman Wright, who survives.

Also surviving are his children, Christopher Wright and Ashley Wright, both at home; his mother, Marie Wright Cage of Washington; his mother-in-law, Shirley Brookman of Washington; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law and their family, Rodney and Amanda Brookman and children Ava Brookman and Jake Brookman; his grandfather, Bob Longstreath of Washington; aunts and uncles Jim (Jean) Wright of Arizona, Bob (Irma) Gray of Washington and Bob (Carol) Wright of Washington; and nieces and nephews Jimmy Fisher, Jesse Fisher and Melissa Fisher of Washington.

Deceased are his father, Gaylord Lloyd Wright; a sister, Michale Fisher; maternal grandmother Dorothy Longstreath; paternal grandparents James and Mabel Wright; his father-in-law, Bill Brookman; and an uncle, Delbert Conger.

Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at E. Katherine avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A Parastas service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Washington native was alcohol counselor

Gayle Ann Yarbor, 58, was born December 29, 1955, Washington, and her Lord dispatched his angel of mercy to gently close her eyes and grant everlasting peace January 14, 2014, in Tracy, Calif.

She was the second eldest child of Ulysses and Anna May Yarbor. With fond recollections and memories, she leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Anna May of Washington; sisters Carla Payne and Andrea Yarbor of Fresno, Calif. and Apryl Yarbor of Tracy; a brother, Rodney Yarbor of Washington; nephews Aaron and Marcus Payne; a niece, Alycia Yarbor; and a great-nephew, Kayden Hildebrand.

Also cherishing her memories are many extended family members and beloved friends.

Miss Yarbor was a graduate of Washington Junior-Senior High School in 1974. She lived and worked in Cleveland, Ohio, for several years, moving to San Diego, Calif., in 1986 and remaining on the West Coast, most recently in Tracy and Stockton, Calif. She received an associate’s degree from Delta College in Stockton and a certificate for drug and alcohol counselor from the University of Pacific in Stockton, which led to her employment as an alcohol counselor at Valley Counseling in Tracy and Manteca, Calif., for the past 13 years. She worked with the public with integrity and hope, knowing she could make a difference. She was good at her job, loving some of the unlovable people she encountered.

Several years ago, she made a decision to change her life and live for God, knowing God was always with her. She most recently attended church at Valley Ministries in Stockton.

She enjoyed taking long walks on the beach, dancing, cooking, baking and listening to good music, especially smooth jazz.

Miss Yarbor was deceased by her father, Ulysses, and a brother, Ronald.

She also leaves behind her beloved pet dog, Yassa.

Donations to Valley Ministries or Hospice of San Joaquin, both of Stockton, are welcome.
