27-year cafeteria worker at Trinity Area S.D.

Phyllis Ann Doak Foringer, 77, of Washington, died Friday, January 17, 2014, in Washington Hospital, following a short illness.

She was born December 5, 1936, in Washington, a daughter of Clarence M. Doak and Rose Kania Doak.

She was a 1954 graduate of Trinity High School and was employed as a cafeteria worker at Trinity Area School District for 27 years.

Mrs. Foringer was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church, South Strabane Township.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family.

On August 9, 1958, she married Duane E. Foringer, who died March 14, 2007.

Surviving are a son, Dennis (Bev) Foringer of Hickory; two daughters, Deborah Foringer and Brenda Foringer, both of Washington; two grandchildren, Christopher Foringer and Tiffany Totterdale; and five great-grandchildren.

Deceased is a sister, Patricia Davis.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, with Pastor George Garancosky officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
