Washington homemaker enjoyed quilting
Helen Louise Bush, 94, of Washington, died Thursday, January 23, 2014, in Humbert Lane.
She was born January 3, 1920, in Wylandville, a daughter of William Lane and Iva Porter Lane.
Mrs. Bush was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and crocheting.
She was a member of Friendship Community Church, Washington.
On May 17, 1944, she married Ralph Bennett Bush, who died August 22, 1992.
Surviving are four sons, William “Ed” (Carol) Bush of Clarksville, Ralph B. (Kay) Bush Jr. of Houston, Larry E. Bush of Washington, Michael A. Bush of Wheeling, W.Va.; a daughter, Deborah S. Garrett of Washington; a sister, Virginia Logan of Waynesburg; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Shirley Wolfe; three brothers, Harold, Robert and Carl Lane; three sisters, Grace Allen, Dorris Wilkes and Eleanor Reese; and a son-in-law, Samuel Garrett.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 27, with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Garden, McMurray.
