John Richard Fraas

John Richard Fraas, 80, of McMurray, died Saturday, January 18, 2014, in Family Hospice & Palliative Care, Mt. Lebanon.
He was born August 31, 1933, in McKeesport, a son of the late John Richard and Lois Marie Patton Fraas.
Mr. Fraas served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a 33rd degree mason and Shriner. He loved to travel and surf the Internet.
Mr. Fraas worked as an engineer for General Electric in Bridgeville, where he met his late wife, Dolores “Dee Dee” Fraas, who died Jan. 16, 2011.
Surviving are a cousin, Cynthia (James) Hatfield of Bethel Park, and an uncle, Walter (Peggy) Patton of Glassport.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m., the time of service, Monday, January 27, in Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, with the Rev. Walter Patton officiating. Interment will be in Melrose Cemetery, Bridgeville.
