Loved spending time with her family and baking

Antoinette “Tona” Kozloff, 96, of Canfield, Ohio, formerly of Marianna, died Wednesday, January 29, 2014, in Peace of the Valley Nursing Home, Boardman, Ohio.

She was born August 16, 1917, in Marianna, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Dragasic Shimrock.

Mrs. Kozloff attended Marianna schools.

She was a member of Saints Mary and Ann Catholic Church of Marianna and more recently attended Wickliffe Presbyterian Church in Austintown, Ohio.

Mrs. Kozloff lived to serve others. She loved spending time with family, baking, especially her famous nut rolls, and being a caregiver for her many family members. She also enjoyed helping at Jet Orsatti’s grocery store and American Legion Auxiliary Post 744.

On July 17, 1937, she married Mike Kozloff, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage before his death December 16, 2002.

Surviving are three children, Michael (Leona) Kozloff of Bentleyville, John Kozloff of Topeka, Kan., and Shirley (Dennis) McMahon of Canfield; a brother, Norman Shimrock of Cleveland, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are 10 siblings.
