Alverne T. Schutzman, 67, of McDonald, died Sunday, March 2, 2014, in his home.
He was born November 30, 1946, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Alverne G. and Rachel (Angus) Schutzman.
Mr. Schutzman was employed by Fort Cherry School District in the maintenance department. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Susan Towle Schutzman of McDonald, and children, A. Thomas Schutzman of McDonald, Erik (Kim) Schutzman of Ohio, and Rachel (Steven) Lawson of St. Louis, Mo. Also surviving are five grandchildren and a sister, Patricia (Ron) Maroni of Dormont.
All arrangements are private and are entrusted to Thomas-Little Funeral Service Inc., 314 West Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, 724-926-2800.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
