David Russell Bout
An all-around people person
David Russell Bout, 69, of West Middletown, died Friday, February 28, 2014, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born January 2, 1945, in West Middletown, a son of John William Bout of Washington and the late Betty Jean Miller Bout.
He graduated from Canon-McMillan High School in 1963, received an associate’s degree from Penn Commercial in 1965 and an accounting degree from Waynesburg College in 1986. Mr. Bout served in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he received the Good Conduct Medal, Sharpshooters Badge and National Defense Service Medal. Mr. Bout was a machinist, enjoyed spending time at Cigarette City and was an all-around people person. He will be missed by his dogs, Bella and Rishyia.
Surviving are two sons, David (Brenda) Bout of Clearwater, Fla., and John (Sarah) Bout of Castle Shannon; two daughters, Shnesha Bout of Canonsburg, Aleethia Bout of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Jacqueline Dillon of Edgewater, Md., and Carol (Rich) Celani of Washington; nine grandchildren, Christy, Josiah, Abigail, Ryland, Zoie, Kallista, John and Delaney Bout and Carson Chaney; nieces and nephews, Trisha, Leah and Alec Celani, Jaimie (Chris) Stackhouse, and Jessica and Jeremy Dillon.
Deceased in addition to his mother are his grandparents, Howard Miller and Grace Martin Miller.
Friends will be received Thursday, March 6, 2014, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m., the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. Jack Emerick officiating.
