Steelers and Mountaineers fan

Earl Andrew Lemley, 54, of Mt. Morris, died at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at home.

He was born Wednesday, June 17, 1959 in Morgantown, W.Va., a son of the late Eugene Franklin Lemley and Mary Lou Tennant Lemley of Mt. Morris.

Mr. Lemley was a member of Mt. Morris Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God. He was also a member of James T. Maxon American Legion Post 992 of Mt. Morris and Mt. Morris Sportsman Club. He enjoyed golfing, riding his motorcycle, and watching the Steelers and Mountaineers. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He worked for several years as a welder for Cypherts of Westover, W.Va.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his companion, Marilyn Grandison; two daughters, Tabitha (JR) Statler of Morgantown, W.Va., and Amber (Colby) Duncan of Denver, N.C.; a step-daughter, Brandi Copeland of Blacksville, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Icie, Harlee, Darrell, Payton, Cameron and Raylin; a brother, Robert E. (LuAnn) Lemley of Mt. Morris; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director, 324 Mount Morris Road, P.O. Box 478, Mt. Morris, PA 15349.

There will be additional visitation on Saturday, March 8, 2014, from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of the service, at Mt. Morris Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God, 103 School Road, Mt. Morris, PA 15349, with the Rev. John Jackson and the Reverend Fred Tomlinson officiating. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery, Pentress, W.Va.
