Loved his dogs

Kenneth E. Breegle, 62, of Elizabeth Township, passed away at his home Tuesday, March 4, 2014.

He was a truck driver for Frank Szczerba Jr. Excavating in Sutersville for 22 years. He enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing, and loved his dogs, Peppy, Blue, Holly and Mindy Lou.

Born October 6, 1951, in Elizabeth Township, he was a son of Mary (Manor) Breegle of Elizabeth Township and the late John R. Breegle Sr.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 30 years, Cathy Chasko Breegle; daughter, Barbara (Derrick) Check of Blaine Hill; grandson, Paxton Check of Blaine Hill; brother, John R. Breegle Jr. of West Newton; brothers-in-law, Michael (Linda) Chasko of Forward Township, John (Barb) Chasko of White Oak, and Francis (Gloria) Chasko of Wheeling, W.Va.; and nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to his father, is a sister, Mary Ann Opat.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth. A service will be held at noon Friday, March 7, 2014, in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Michael Sneeringer officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery, Rostraver Township.
