Loved spending time with family

Bertha M. Willy, 59, of Parrottsville, Tenn., formerly of Greene County, died Monday, March 3, 2014.

She was born September 20, 1954, a daughter of the late Jasper Leroy Lemley and Charlotte Isabelle Varner Lemley.

Mrs. Willy was Methodist.

She enjoyed playing bingo and doing word search puzzles. When her health permitted, she enjoyed traveling and going to dirt track races. She loved spending as much time as she could with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are a daughter, Cheri Phillips and husband Robert of Spraggs; a son, James “Bobby” Willy of Nettle Hill; three brothers, Tom Lemley and wife Doreen of Connecticut, Dearald Lemley and wife Nancy of Central and Learnie Lemley of Florida; a sister, Bonnie Garlitz and husband Buck of Morgantown, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Brenden Voight and Abby, Nathan and Kaleb Phillips; an uncle, Learnie Rex Lemley and wife Lee Lee of Pentress, W.Va.; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and her companion of 12 years, Robert “Buck” Fulton.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her first husband, H. Ashley Wyant II; a daughter, Becki Willy; and a granddaughter, Isabella Willy.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, W.Va., where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, with the Rev. Rose Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in Blacksville Cemetery.
