City Mission retiree, food bank volunteer
Antoinette C. Whitlock, 63, of Washington, died Friday, March 7, 2014, in Washington Hospital.
She was born November 30, 1950, in Monessen, a daughter of the late Benjamin Allen and Barbara Whitlock.
Ms. Whitlock was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church, and a graduate of Washington High School and Conley School, Pittsburgh.
She worked for Century Assisted Living and retired from Washington City Mission. She volunteered at Greater Washington Community Food Bank.
Surviving are her companion of 38 years, Noah Jackson; two sons, Kevin Whitlock of Beaver and Travis Whitlock of Washington; a daughter, Shawna Whitlock of Washington; two brothers, Roger (Tina) Allen of Pittsburgh and Benny Allen of Monessen; four sisters, Mary Walker of Charleroi, Barbara Allen of Monessen, Beth Cook of Charleroi and Telesa (Tim) Houge of Delaware; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a son, Anthony Whitlock; a sister, Carol Allen; and a granddaughter, Nichole Whitlock.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of service, Wednesday, March 12, in Piatt & Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Debra Mason. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
