Loretta Hoy, 92, of Washington, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014, in Country Meadows, Bridgeville.
She was born May 15, 1921, in Washington, a daughter of the late John and Mary Pence Giecek.
Mrs. Hoy attended Trinity High School.
A homemaker, she was a member of Third United Presbyterian Church for 56 years. She was also a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 404.
On February 21, 1946, she married Paul Hoy, who died July 1, 2004.
Surviving are a sister, Blanche G. Sworden of Silver Creek, Ga., and several nieces, nephews and grandnephews.
Deceased are three brothers, Joseph, Walter and John Giecek, and three sisters, Helen McNeely, Olga Adams and Jennie Cerenzia.
Services were private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
