Deborah Sue “Debbie” Cole Milligan, 65, of Washington, was reunited with her late husband, Kenny, Thursday, December 7, 2017, surrounded by her family, whom she loved dearly.
She was born November 12, 1952, in Washington, a daughter of Hazel Paul Cole and the late Jack Cole Sr.
Mrs. Milligan was employed at Western Center until it closed. She later worked at and retired from the Greenery.
She loved camping with her husband, playing bingo and fishing.
She was a 1970 graduate of Trinity High School.
On June 12, 1971, she married her high school sweetheart, Ken Milligan, who died September 26, 2015.
Her grandsons, whom she called “my boys,” were her pride and joy – Hunter Moore, 19, of Washington, William Himmelrick, 15, of Avella and Seth Moore, 14, of Washington.
Surviving, in addition to her grandsons, are three daughters, Kelley Milligan of Washington, Denise (Floyd) Moore of Washington and Wendy (J.T.) Himmelrick of Avella; a brother, Jack (Sherri) Cole Jr. of Washington; a sister, Mila (Harry) Lemley of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 12, with Pastor Rob Berk officiating. Burial will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
