Audrey Jane Conklin, 87, of Waynesburg, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg, with family by her side.
She was born October 16, 1930, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late French and Edna Sylvia Swerginger Foley.
On February 26, 1950, she married Ralph C. Conklin Sr., who died July 6, 2002.
Mrs. Conklin worked as a clerk at G.C. Murphy Co. and McCrory’s in Waynesburg. She also worked as a seamstress for Greenway Manufacturing.
She was a lifelong resident of Waynesburg and Sycamore.
Mrs. Conklin was a member of Bates Fork Baptist Church, Sycamore. She was also a member of American Legion Auxiliary and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Waynesburg.
Surviving are three sons, Ralph C. Conklin Jr. of Prosperity, Gary R. Conklin (Michelle) of Prosperity and Jonathan D. Conklin of Los Angeles, Calif.; two daughters, Letha W. Zollars (Kirk) of Carmichaels and Tina L. Thomas of Leechburg; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Mathyle Smith; a son-in-law, John L. Thomas; a brother, Donald Foley; a half sister, Lela Fortney; and a half brother, Pete Bolyard.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High Street, Waynesburg, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 11.
