Eleanor Bury-Ruffolo, 75, of Washington, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 7, 2017.
She was born in March 1942, a daughter of the late Mary and John Mangin.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Ruffolo and George “Sonny” Bury; loving mother of Christopher M. (Heidi) Bury and Shelley (Tony) Knight; dear stepmother of Nick Ruffolo, Donna (Jody) Ruffolo Scott and Danita McKnight; cherished grandmother of Emily Nicolella, Kiana and Briana Knight and Michael and Sydney Bury; and dear sister to James (Dale) Mangin, Carole Dietz and Rita (Robert) Marra. Also surviving are many stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, John, and a brother-in-law, John Dietz.
Mrs. Bury-Ruffolo was a member of Catholic Daughters and Red Hats, and she was a volunteer at Washington County Health Center. She enjoyed going to shows and bus trips. She donated her time to many churches, and she will be dearly missed.
A gathering of family and friends will take place from 3 to 6 p.m., the time of service, Monday, December 11, in Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.
