Michael A. Kniha, 70, of Cadiz, Ohio, died Tuesday, November 28, 2017, in his home.
He was born December 8, 1946, in Waynesburg, a son of the late John J. Jr. and Helen Evanesky Kniha.
Mr. Kniha was a graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School. Following high school, he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He worked as a pipefitter in the steel mills most of his life.
Surviving are two children, Brandon Kniha and Bethany Coyne, and three siblings, John J. Kniha and wife Randy of Waynesburg, Ronald Kniha of Waynesburg and Marlene Pike and husband Dennis of McClellandtown.
A gathering of family and friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, December 16, in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor. Inurnment will follow in Jefferson Cemetery.
