Raymond Wilson Anderson, 90, of Prosperity, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017, in Donnell House, Washington.
He was born June 25, 1927, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Louis and Ada Anderson.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a truck driver for I. Richman Co. for 20 years.
He was a member of Upper Ten Mile Church. He enjoyed wood-crafting, fishing, camping and playing cards.
On April 22, 1950, he married Betty Compton, who survives.
He is also survived by daughters Betty (Edward, deceased) Shingle of West Alexander, Sharon (Bill) Wilson of West Alexander, Mary (Dan) Hathaway of Claysville and Jo Ann (Roger) Hull of Prosperity; brother Floyd Anderson of Washington; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and nine great- great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Home Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 15, with Pastor Larry Deemer officiating.
Burial to follow at Upper Ten Mile Cemetery in Prosperity.
