Erma May McConnell, 77, of Washington, died Wednesday, December 13, 2017, in The Grove at Washington.
She was born December 22, 1939, in Cameron, W.Va., a daughter of the late Thomas Earl and Verbia Luella Kilgore Anderson.
Ms. McConnell attended Cameron High School and worked in the coffee shop at Washington Hospital.
She loved her dogs, playing guitar, reading and puzzle books.
Surviving are two sisters, Ruth Gregg of Aleppo and Patsy Frye of Washington, and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, Robert Lee Anderson, and her longtime companion, Michael Platt.
At the request of the deceased, services and burial are private. Arrangements are entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
