Karen K. Cox, 64, of Dilliner, formerly of Carmichaels, died Thursday, December 14, 2017, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born June 15, 1953, in Salt Lake City, Utah, a daughter of the late Calvin K. and Virginia L. Cox.
Surviving are her companion, Mark Stevulak; four children, Bobby Treece (Margretta), James A. Scott Sr. (Heather), Sabrina Brown (Cecil) and Heather Scott; eight sisters, Janet Christopher, Kimberly Barnes, Virginia Whyel (Don), Catherine Cox, Sandra Kuntz, Debbie Hixenbaugh (Ronnie), Patty Pyles (Terry) and Barbara Lamberto (Mike); two brothers, Calvin “Junior” Cox and Michael Cox (Beverly); 23 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Deceased are two sons, William T. (Red) Scott Jr. and Scotty Scott; and two grandchildren, LeAnn Staggers and Glenn Yoney Jr.
Ms. Cox was a member of Senior Life of Waynesburg.
She loved her large family and her beloved dog, Jake.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 18, in Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320, 724-966-5100, where services will be held in the chapel at 7:30 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Sowden officiating.
