Robert H. Brammer

Robert H. Brammer, 88, formerly of Paris, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017, in St. John Specialty Care Center, Mars.

He was born January 26, 1929, in St. Marys, W.Va., a son of the late Clyde and Eva Wagner Brammer.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Wilma Louise Caldwell Brammer, and a brother, Clyde Brammer Jr.

Mr. Brammer was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.

He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran, serving in the signal corps.

He retired from Weirton Steel Corp., where he worked in the coke plant as a millwright.

Surviving are his daughters, Karen Murphy (Kevin) of Oak Park, Ill., Ellen Morrison (David) of Greenwich, Conn., Donna Brammer of Chicago, Ill., and Paula Dolgos (Dave) of Gibsonia; a son, Craig Brammer (Joan) of Harrisburg; a brother, Jim Brammer (Pat) of Madison, W.Va.; sisters, Betty Jean Hamilton (Cecil) of St. Marys, Helen Hunt (Paul) of Trenton, Ga., and Mary Ann Hamilton (Tom) of Marietta, Ohio; and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, W.Va. An additional visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of services, Monday, December 18, in First Church of the Nazarene, 475 Colliers Way, Weirton, W.Va., with Pastors Brian Richardson and Larry Barkley officiating. Interment will follow in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Florence, with military honors rendered by West Virginia Honor Guard and American Legion Post 10 Honor Guard.
