Mark R. Carrington, 61, of Peters Township, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 13, 2017.
He was the beloved husband of Daneen Kolodziej Carrington; loving father of Evan, Auriana, Breylen, David and the late Brian Carrington; grandfather of Dominique, Daniel and Dylan Carrington; brother of Larry and Jim (Barbara) Carrington; son of the late Euel and Colleen Carrington; son-in-law of Daniel and Therese Kolodziej; and brother-in-law of Deborah (Ronald) Stotler. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Carrington was a devoted father and husband, who loved and supported his family and enjoyed watching his children grow and excel in life.
He retired at the rank of major from the U.S. Army and continued his service as a senior instructor of JROTC programs since 1998, most recently in Butler Area School District.
Mr. Carrington’s dedication, love and devotion to his friends and family will be greatly missed by all of those who loved and knew him.
Friends and family are welcome to gather from 10:15 to 11 a.m., the time of Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, December 20, in St. Benedict the Abbot Church, 120 Abington Drive, McMurray. Interment will be held privately for the immediate family following Mass. Arrangements are by Beinhauer, 724-941-3211.
