Daniel “Dutch” Frazier, 88, of Washington, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017, surrounded by family.

Born July 14, 1929, in Washington, he was a son of the late Rose Perry and Harry Frazier.

He was the beloved husband of Diane Frazier for 67 years; loving father of David (Nancy) Frazier and Jodi (Jake) Pliska; cherished grandfather of Alisha (Ben) DeLuca, Jennifer (Sammy) Morgan, Morgan Pliska, Madison Pliska, Matt (Shannon) Ringheisen and Natalie (Eric) Apodiakos; and dear great-grandfather of Italo Rocco DeLuca, Emma and Ruby Morgan, twins Matt and Mason Ringheisen and Dash and Dylan Apodiakos.

He was preceded in death by a son, Boone, and siblings John and Bill Frazier, Stella McFelly, Sid Buchanon and Doris Wilson.

Mr. Frazier was a proud U.S. Army veteran.

He played football for Washington Podunks and Washington Generals. He was an avid Notre Dame fan, and he enjoyed watching the games with his friend, Norman Gump. He enjoyed walking, dartball, drinking beer and spending time with his friends at Moose Lodge 22 and American Legion. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, kind heart and love for his family.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1 to 4 p.m., the time of service, Wednesday, December 20, in Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. Internment will take place privately in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to one’s choice of charity: Concordia Hospice, 10 Leet Street, Washington, PA 15301, or Marcia’s Muttley Crew.
