Evelyn Kay Lloyd, 74, of Washington, died peacefully Saturday, December 16, 2017, in her home.
She was born October 27, 1943, in Delta, a daughter of William Henry and Miriam Kathleen Atkins Snyder.
Surviving are a sister, Donna (Snyder) Soskin; brother-in-law Donald Soskin; nephew Douglas Soskin; niece Carol (Soskin) Mayer; and four great-nephews and great-nieces.
Ms. Lloyd was a 1964 graduate of York Hospital School of Nursing and received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from University of Pittsburgh.
She had a long career as a nursing instructor at Washington Hospital School of Nursing, retiring in 2008. She was known for her generosity and commitment to her faith. She was a talented pianist and a devoted sister and aunt to her family.
Donations may be sent to Concordia Hospice of Washington.
At her request, no services will be held.
