Nancy L. Taylor, 65, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 20, 2017, in her home, following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born November 1, 1952, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Robert C. and Mary L. Davis Harper.

On December 18, 1978, she married Matthew L. Taylor, who passed away October 17, 2012.

Mrs. Taylor was a sweet, kind woman who never worried about anything and just lived her life. She loved bird-watching and collecting stuffed owls. She enjoyed going to garage sales and the simpler things in life. She truly enjoyed her life.

Surviving are her sisters, Sherry L. Frey, Roberta K. Gostic (David), Linda S. Staley and Mary D. Mohler (Arthur), all of Washington, and a special friend, John Basso of Canonsburg.

At the request of the family, services and interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120.
