George David Bobble, 70, of Cecil, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017, with his wife and family at his side. After a long and courageous battle with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, he is free from pain.
He was born January 8, 1947, in Hendersonville, a son of the late Metro and Helen Maceiko Bobble.
Mr. Bobble was an avid golfer and loved to hunt.
On July 18, 1970, he married his wife of over 47 years, Geraldine Grendys Bobble, who survives.
Also surviving are his sisters, Carol Mitchell of Sewickley, Peggy (Samuel) Failla of Center Township; his brother-in-law, Richard (Carol) Grendys of Bridgeville; his sister-in-law, Bernadette (Ronald) Sebastian of Clairton; and several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends will be received from noon to 7 p.m. Friday and 10 to 11 a.m., the time of services, Saturday, December 23, in Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Scott Township.
Mr. Bobble received loving care from Concordia Hospice of Donnell House, Washington.
