Robert W. “Bob” Rizor, 85, of New Freeport, died Thursday, December 21, 2017, in Waynesburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born January 22, 1932, in Ned, a son of the late Harold Rizor and Wilma Miller Rizor.
Mr. Rizor was self employed and dabbled in many different types of businesses throughout his lifetime.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War.
Mr. Rizor was a member of Littleton Church of Christ, however, he was currently attending Mannington Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Marcella Peterson Rizor; two sons and daughters-in-law, James N. Rizor and Deedra of New Freeport and Robert Michael Rizor and Diana of Jefferson; two daughters and a son-in-law, Karen and Mike Chaney of New Freeport and Lori Ann Rizor of Richmond, Va.; a brother and his spouse, James M. Rizor and Judy of New Freeport; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a son, Robert Randolph Rizor.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, W.Va., where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, with Evangelist Dick Bartrug officiating. Interment will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery, Ned.
