Erik “Norm” Thomas, 50, of Bentleyville, Somerset Township, died unexpectedly Friday, December 22, 2017, in his home.
He was born June 10, 1967, in Washington, a son of Gloria A. Pallai Thomas of Bentleyville and the late Edward E. Thomas.
Mr. Thomas was a graduate of Bentworth High School.
He worked for the family business, E.E. Thomas Paving, and later for Pompei Paving.
Mr. Thomas was a member of Local 66 Operating Engineers, and was an avid golfer.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a sister, Tina Covalesky (Brian) of Mt. Pleasant, and a niece and a nephew.
Deceased, in addition to his father, is a brother, Shayne Edward Thomas.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, with Pastor Brad Neel officiating. Interment will follow in Pigeon Creek Cemetery, Eighty Four.
