Joseph Celio, 87, of Canonsburg, died Friday, December 22, 2017.
He was born June 18, 1930, in Palena Providence, Chieti, Italy, a son of the late Raffaele and Giovinia Teti Celio.
Mr. Celio proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during World War II.
Prior to his retirement, he worked for Ford Motor company in Cleveland, Ohio, and later as a supervisor at Macys in South Hills.
Surviving are a brother, Albert Celio of Strabane and Richard Celio and wife Marilyn of Scott Township; sisters Antoinette Liberatore of Canonsburg and Jean Lucas of McMurray; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Mario “Rocky” Celio and Lucien Celio, and sister Mary Sacco.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation and services are private.
