Margaret Augustine
Margaret Augustine, 98, of McDonald, died Sunday, December 24, 2017, in Transitions Healthcare, South Strabane Township.
She was born September 8, 1919, in McDonald, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Margaret Eckels Richards.
Mrs. Augustine was a member of McDonald Presbyterian Church.
She enjoyed reading and flower gardening.
Surviving are a son, Thomas Gary (Judy) Augustine of Midway; two grandsons, Scott (Cindy) Augustine of Connecticut and Robb (Tracy) Augustine of Ohio; five great-grandchildren, Emma, Zachary, Joshua, Benjamin and Joseph Augustine; and a nephew, William Richards.
Deceased are her husband, Louis Augustine, who died in 2003, and five brothers, Charles, Benjamin, Edward, Bill and James “Ick” Richards.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, December 28, in Thomas-Little Funeral Service Inc., 314 West Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, 724-926-2800.
