Marie Peluso Zeni, 96, of Monongahela, died Saturday, December 23, 2017, in Monongahela Valley Hospital.
She was born March 21, 1921, in Glassport, a daughter of Thomas and Madeline Peluso.
A homemaker, Mrs. Zeni was a graduate of Glassport High School.
She was a member of St. Damien of Molokai Parish, formerly St. Anthony Catholic Church, in Monongahela.
In her spare time, Mrs. Zeni loved to crochet.
One of sixteen children, she is survived by two sons, Victor E. Zeni Jr. of Monongahela and Thomas and wife Jacqueline Zeni of Washington; three grandsons, Shawn and wife Michelle Zeni of Carroll Township, Adam and wife Jennifer Zeni of Adamstown and Patrick and wife Jennifer Zeni of Canonsburg; four great-grandsons, Lorenzo, Luciano, Evan and Addison Zeni; and a brother, Nicholas Peluso of McKeesport.
Deceased is her husband, Victor “Tok” Zeni Sr., who died June 30, 2015.
Friends were received Tuesday in Marshall Marra Funeral Home, 216 Chess Street, Monongahela, 724-258-6767, marshallmarrafuneralhome.com, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, with Father William Terza officiating. At the request of the family, interment will be held privately in Monongahela Cemetery.
