Robert E. Caldwell, 73, of Eighty Four, Nottingham Township, died Sunday, December 24, 2017, in his home.
He was born September 21, 1944, in New Eagle, a son of Edward and Elizabeth Withrow Caldwell.
Mr. Caldwell retired as a machinist with Flowserve Inc. in Bridgeville.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of American Legion.
Mr. Caldwell enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Surviving are his wife, Paulette Dzubay Caldwell; two sons, Robert Caldwell Jr. of Finleyville and Jon Caldwell of Bentleyville; two brothers, Harold “Bill” Caldwell of Bethel Park and Albert Caldwell of Glendale, W.Va.; a sister, Betty Gordon of Youngwood; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a son, Michael Caldwell, and two brothers, Edward and Paul Caldwell.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Kegel Funeral Home Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 28. Private interment will be in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
