Barbara Ann Hotarie Rossi, 65, of Marianna, died Saturday, December 23, 2017, in Donnell House, Washington.

She was born June 8, 1952, in Brownsville, Washington County, a daughter of the late John Hotarie and Margaret Liptok Hotarie.

She was a 1970 graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School and 1973 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Rossi was employed by U.S. Postal Service as a window clerk at various post offices in the area.

She was also a substitute teacher for Bethlehem-Center School District.

She was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish, formerly Saints Mary and Ann Parish, and Steele-Lillie American Legion, Marianna.

On June 21, 1997, in St. Michael Archangel in Fredericktown, she married Achille A. “Chick” Rossi, who survives.

Surviving are two children, Elizabeth Ann Holmes of Oldsmar, Fla. and William F. Holmes III of McKees Rocks; four grandchildren; a sister, Kathie Leeds of Brentwood, Tenn.; and a brother, John Hotarie of Denbo Heights.
