Gladys P. Olson, 91, of Canonsburg, died Sunday, October 15, 2017.
She was born September 23, 1926, in Grindstone, a daughter of Renaldo and Sarah Zeli Pompei.
She had strong faith and was a member of Kingdom Hall in Bridgeville, where she enjoyed studying the Bible with others.
Mrs. Olson was a dedicated wife and homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and traveling.
Surviving are her son, David Olson and wife Deborah of McDonald; two daughters, Miriam Lash-Crimin and husband Ray of Arizona and Beth Olson and husband Michael Attenberger of Canonsburg; two sisters, Betty Pompei of McMurray and Bernie DiStefano and husband Fred of Hershey; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, deceased are her husband, Michael Merle Olson, who died February 6, 2012; two brothers, John and Jerome Pompei; and her sister, Juanita Tibieri.
Arrangements are entrusted to Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 11, in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3482 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017.
